The main focus is to help the elderly people who are trying to exist on $200- $875 a month. "They are out there by the thousands," Harmon says. He adds that they have come across residents who are trying to live on as little as $ 127 a month.

What We Do

To qualify for Food Pantry Aid, an individual must have income under

$900 month, or a household under

$1600 per month.

About Us

This organization began through the vision of Director Carl Harmon to help people who were lacking basic needs in this, one of the poorest areas in the United States.

We help with Food,  Electric bills, water bills, heating bills, medicine and the necessary bills they are unable to pay. We also help with burn-outs, medical donations and Children's Christmas Items for the low income families


Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Our Mission

Caring and Sharing is asking for your help today filling our Pantry Shelves.

We have been increasing both in clients served(over 850 per month) and in the size of the food package (up 40% in the last 6 months).

                            The following items are most needed:

Low Sodium canned vegetables         Fruits package in water

Dried Fruits          Oatmeal     Whole Grain Pasta        Brown Rice

Canned tuna, salmon, & chicken       Canned or Dried Beans

Low Sodium Canned Soups      Whole Wheat Crackers     Protein Bars

Trail Mixes       Snacks such as Granola Bars
