Caring and Sharing INC was awarded $10,000 from The One SC Fund: COVID-19 Response, a fund housed at Central Carolina Community Foundation.  The grant will assist Caring and Sharing to continue to provide food for people in need.

“COVID-19 has placed a growing financial burden on communities around the state,” said Mac Bennett,” director of community impact and strategic initiatives at Cyberwoven, LLC. “The grants will help meet the rising needs spawned by the COVID-19 pandemic in our state.” Bennett is chairing the executive committee for the One SC Fund: COVID-19 Response.

What We Do

To qualify for Food Pantry Aid, an individual must have income under

$900 month, or a household under

$1600 per month.

About Us

This organization began through the vision of Director Carl Harmon to help people who were lacking basic needs in this, one of the poorest areas in the United States.

We help with Food,  Electric bills, water bills, heating bills, medicine and the necessary bills they are unable to pay. We also help with burn-outs, medical donations and Children's Christmas Items for the low income families

The main focus is to help the elderly people who are trying to exist on $200- $1000 a month. "They are out there by the thousands," Harmon says. He adds that they have come across residents who are trying to live on as little as $ 127 a month.
